Lap Shun Professional Consultant (“Lap Shun,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you use the JT Stable Staff mobile app for iOS and Android (the “App”) or visit https://www.lap-shun.com (the “Website”).

Who the App is for

The App is a work tool for authorised staff of JT Stable, a horse racing stable in Hong Kong. Lap Shun develops and operates the App and its server on behalf of JT Stable. The App is not available to the general public: you cannot create an account in the App, and accounts are set up by JT Stable for its own staff. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Information we collect

Information from your employer

To give you access, JT Stable provides us with your staff record: your name, staff number, department, work email address, and your role. It also provides the work information the App displays to you, such as your daily training timetable, the horses and tasks assigned to you, health and treatment jobs, and workplace notices.

Information you provide in the App

Job completion notes: when you mark a health or treatment job as done, you may add a short note (up to 500 characters). The note, the time, and your identity are recorded.
Notice acknowledgements: when you acknowledge a notice, the time of acknowledgement is recorded.

Information collected automatically when you use the App

Sign-in and session information: when you open a sign-in link, our server creates a device session for you. We store a one-way hash of the session token (not the token itself), when the session was created, when it was last used, and when it ends. The token is kept on your device in the operating system’s secure storage (the iOS Keychain or Android Keystore).
Server logs: for security, audit, and troubleshooting, our server records each request to the App’s service, including the time, the feature accessed, the result, how long it took, your account identifier, your IP address, and your device’s user-agent string. Sign-in, sign-out, and other security events are recorded in the same way.

The App does not use your location, camera, photos, microphone, contacts, or advertising identifier. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software.

Information from third parties

We do not receive information about you from data brokers, advertising networks, or social media services. Apple (App Store and TestFlight) and Google (Google Play) distribute the App and may collect information under their own privacy policies; we do not control that collection.

Email enquiries

If you contact us by email, we receive the details you send, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and message.

Website, contact form and cookies

When you submit the Website’s contact form, we receive the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, selected enquiry area, and message. We use these details to respond to and manage your enquiry. We keep website enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and maintain related business records, subject to applicable legal requirements.

The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. When reCAPTCHA runs, Google may set the _GRECAPTCHA cookie for risk analysis. Google’s processing is subject to its Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the contact form unless it is needed for your enquiry.

How we use information

We use information only to:

sign you in, keep your session secure, and let you sign out;
show you your own timetable, assigned jobs, and notices;
record completed jobs and notice acknowledgements for JT Stable’s records;
protect the security and integrity of the App and its server, detect misuse, and investigate problems;
diagnose errors and keep the service working reliably;
respond to your questions and requests; and
comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

When we disclose information

JT Stable: the work information you create in the App (completed jobs, notes, and acknowledgements) is part of JT Stable’s operational records and is available to authorised JT Stable managers and supervisors.
Legal requirements: we may disclose information when required by law, or when necessary to protect the safety of people, or the rights and security of JT Stable, Lap Shun, or our services.
Business transfers: if the operation of the App is transferred to another party, information may be transferred as part of that transfer, subject to this policy.

The App’s server and its backups are operated by us and JT Stable in Hong Kong; we do not use third-party cloud hosting, analytics, or advertising providers for the App. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Tracking and advertising

The App does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or the Android Advertising ID), does not show advertisements, and does not share data with data brokers or for targeted advertising or advertising measurement.

Data retention and deletion

Device sessions expire after 60 days, or earlier when you sign out or when JT Stable revokes your access.
Your account and staff record are kept while you are a member of JT Stable’s staff. When your employment ends, JT Stable deactivates your access.
Work records (completed jobs, notes, and acknowledgements) are kept as part of JT Stable’s operational records for as long as JT Stable needs them for its business and legal obligations.
Server and security logs are kept only as long as needed for security, audit, and troubleshooting.
Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.

Signing out of the App ends your session on the server and removes the session token from your device. Because accounts are created and managed by JT Stable, the App does not offer self-service account deletion. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email contact@lap-shun.com with the subject Privacy Request, or contact JT Stable’s management. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information may be kept where JT Stable is required by law to retain it or needs it to establish or defend legal claims.

You can stop future collection by signing out and uninstalling the App. This does not delete information already collected; use the contact method above to request deletion.

Security

We protect information with measures that include encrypted connections (HTTPS) between the App and our server, storing only one-way hashes of session tokens on the server, keeping the session token in your device’s secure storage, time-limited sign-in links and sessions, and access controls that limit what each account can see. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

International processing

The App’s server is located in Hong Kong. If you use the App from outside Hong Kong, your information will be transferred to and processed in Hong Kong.

Your choices and rights

Under Hong Kong’s Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), and depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data, and to ask for its deletion or for limits on its use. To exercise a right, contact us at contact@lap-shun.com. You may also manage your device’s permissions in its settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App or our legal obligations change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the dates above. If a change materially affects how we handle information, we will give additional notice in the App or through JT Stable when required by law.
